Access to Databases
Inver Hills allows access to the databases Cinahl,Alt-Press Watch, CQ Researcher, and Gale LegalTrac from off-campus using a proxy server. The proxy server allows you to access our subscription databases by authenticating that you are a valid Inver Hills Library patron.
All you need is an activated library barcode number to use these databases. The barcode number is found on the back of your Inver Hills Student ID or you may have a purple/blue library card from Inver Hills. If you’ve check out materials from the library recently, then you are activated. If not, activate your barcode in the library.
Access to Westlaw, a legal research database is available on-campus at the Inver Hills library. Simply go to the reference desk and a librarian will assist you to log-in.
